Tree Dismantling

When a tree needs to be removed and is in an awkward position or space is limited, usually there is an obstacle below, such as a greenhouse or oil tank below, the tree then has to be dismantled. This is achieved gradually, using lowering ropes or controlled throws to land the branches and logs safely on the floor. We are qualified to carry this out safely and in a way which shouldn't risk causing damage to your property.

Tree Felling

Tree felling involves cutting down a tree from at ground level. When done in a controlled manner this can be done and carried out without compromising the safety of the surrounding area. There are several different techniques that can be used to ensure a decent level of safety in the surrounding area. Often a tree can be winched or pulled with a rope to ensure it falls the right way. Very often however, removing a tree by felling is not suitable due to various space limitations and the tree will have to be climbed and dismantled in smaller sections..

Tree Pruning

Pruning removes both the living and / or dead parts of the tree. These parts may be soft growth, twigs, branches, limbs, parts of the tree’s trunk or of the tree’s root system. This is the most frequently practiced of all tree works, since such a wide range of aims and objectives can be achieved. These objectives may relate to the structural integrity of the tree, the safety of a tree to its people and also property, access obstruction or light and aesthetic value.

Tree Lifting

Tree Lifting increases the clear space below the foliage of a tree. It is often required in urban areas where the space under a tree is used for access i.e. pedestrians or vehicles need to pass under a tree safely or the space is used for parking etc. This process involves the removal of the lower branches and the trimming of other remaining branch foliage to reduce their weight and allow them to lift up naturally. This can be done to achieve any required height clearance.

Dead Wooding

Deadwood left on a tree degrades over time and will get weaker, eventually falling from the tree. In secluded areas, this is less of an issue; but where trees are in public areas, such as over roads or footpaths, in gardens or other communal areas, falling debris can prove to be a real hazard, even fatal. In such kinds of situations such as these, deadwood removal is a necessary task.

Stump Grinding

When removing a tree or large shrub to ground level, a small proportion of the trunk or stem remains in the ground. This is known as the "Stump" or main rootball. Though this can be of low risk, if you wish to replant and lay down a lawn in that area, you will need to remove the stump. The most efficient way of removing a stump is by using a stump grinder and very quickly you can be rid of your stump.

Dangerous Tree Removal

Residential Hedgerow Cutting / Trimming

We offer hedgerow cutting services from regular trimming to full scale reductions. Using mechanical hedge cutting flails means we are able to help cut and maintain your hedgerow and ensure we are able to keep vegetation at safe levels of growth. Residential Hedgerow Removal

Over time, there are times where the hedgerow is no longer needed, such as when building a new driveway or if your hedgerow has become overgrown. We will safely and efficiently remove any size hedge from your garden or outdoor area. We are able to grind and remove the stumps and remove all excess waste from site and ensure you are able to make the most of the space where you hedgerow once sat.
